Who are the Saas-Fee camps for?
Saas-Fee camps
Summer and autumn glacier camps with on-snow training, physical preparation and afternoon activities. Athletes are grouped by age and racing level, with up to eight racers per coach.
Who are the Zermatt summer camps for?
Zermatt summer camps
Early-summer glacier training combining technical free skiing, drills and progressive gate training. The programme lists up to eight racers per coach, five ski days and an off-snow day. Check the programme page for confirmed dates and age eligibility.
Who is the Chile / South America programme for?
Chile / South America
Winter-condition training during the Northern Hemisphere summer. The group programme is for U14 to FIS racers; other ages can enquire about private training. A three-week stay is recommended. Training includes GS and SL, with SG and races as options.
Who are the Zinal winter camps for?
Zinal winter camps
Winter training in Zinal with six on-snow days, GS and SL, optional SG, video analysis, ski tuning and lunch on the slopes. The programme lists racers from age 10 to FIS level, while supervised lodging is for athletes aged 14 and above.
Who are the U10 camps for?
U10 camps
For strong skiers aged eight and nine, with a maximum of four athletes per coach. Independent T-bar use is required. The supervised athlete hotel is not available for this programme.
Who is the Adults / Masters programme for?
Adults / Masters
For adult racers, strong skiers and instructors preparing for racing tests. The programme focuses on GS and SL with video feedback and ski-tuning instruction. Fitness and recovery activities can be requested as paid extras; a full afternoon programme is not automatically included.
Who are the Weekend camps for?
Weekend camps
Compact GS and SL blocks in Saas-Fee for U10 to U16 athletes: arrive Friday evening, train Saturday and Sunday, and depart Sunday late afternoon. Extra Friday training is available. A minimum of four athletes is required for the advertised weekend format; otherwise the shared-training rate applies.
Who are the Super-G camps for?
Super-G camps
Specialised speed training in Saas-Fee for experienced U14, U16 and FIS racers, with up to six athletes per coach. A high racing level is required. Confirm the arrival and departure arrangements with the booking team before making travel plans.
Who are the Indoor slalom camps for?
Indoor slalom camps
Focused slalom training at Peer in Belgium for high-level U14, U16 and FIS racers. The published programme includes four ski days, fitness, activation and recovery, ski tuning and video analysis, with up to eight racers per coach. Transport from Switzerland is offered for the listed camp dates.
Who is the Private race training programme for?
Private race training
Hire a coach for one athlete or your own pre-formed group. Choose a four-hour morning session or a full-day format. Private training is offered year-round across age groups and racing levels, with the location and plan adapted to the season and your objectives.
Who is the U19 / Zenit Ski Team programme for?
U19 / Zenit Ski Team
A structured development programme for international U19 athletes aiming for regional, national junior or college teams. Options include Summer–Fall, Fall–Winter and Flexible Year, with admissions assessment, individual goals, physical preparation and training or racing blocks.

When should I arrive for the camp?

Please arrive on Sunday. Hotel Alpin check-in is from 14:00 to 16:00, and the welcome meeting begins at 16:30. Bring sportswear and water for the team activities after the meeting.

Meet at Hotel Alpin, Mischistrasse 18, 3906 Saas-Fee , directly opposite the Alpin Express gondola, on Sunday at 16:30 . You will meet the coaches and athletes, form training groups and receive the weekly schedule. Please be on time.
How do I get to the hotel or arrange an airport transfer?

Private airport transfers are available from Geneva, Zurich and Milan. Request arrangements through your original booking email thread. Hotel Alpin offers a complimentary electric shuttle from the Post Office / Bus Terminal: call +41 27 957 15 77 while passing through Saas-Grund.
What time does the camp finish?

The camp finishes on Saturday at 13:00. Please collect athletes outside Hotel Alpin. There are no dryland activities on Saturday afternoon.

Can you arrange airport, station or hotel transfers?

Yes. Door-to-door transfers can be arranged for athletes, families and groups. Send your destination, travel schedule, passenger numbers and ski-luggage details for a confirmed arrangement and quote.
Which airport should I use for the Chile camp?

Fly into Santiago de Chile. International travel to and from Santiago is not included in the camp price. The Chile programme lists airport shuttles among its inclusions; confirm the transfer arrangements for your booking and any accompanying family members.
Equipment & rental
What ski equipment should I bring?

Skis and boots: GS and SL skis, labelled with your name or initials. U10 athletes need GS or longer SL skis only. Bring properly fitting race boots and check that the bindings are compatible before arrival.
What clothes and everyday items should I pack?

On snow: ski jacket, ski pants and thermals; a windbreaker; two pairs of gloves with protected backhands; two goggles for sun and poor visibility; several pairs of ski socks; a neck warmer and high-factor sunscreen. A race suit and ski shorts are recommended, not compulsory.
How do I rent skis and boots?

Request rental through your original booking email with height, weight, MONDO boot size and boot sole length. For Saas-Fee, send it by Friday at 18:00 Zurich time before camp; earlier is better because stock is limited.
Where do I collect rental equipment?

Rental fitting takes place at Glacier Sport in Saas-Fee on Sunday at 15:00 , before the welcome meeting. A Ski Zenit coach and shop staff help with fitting and setup. Rental skis are labelled with the athlete’s name.
Do I need to bring ski tuning tools?

Bring your own files, diamond stones and wax. These can also be purchased at the welcome meeting. Ski Zenit provides waxing irons, servicing tables, plastic scrapers, brushes, file guides and guidance from the coaching staff.
Can I buy or rent protective equipment?

Protective equipment can be purchased through Glacier Sport, including SL shin guards, race helmets with chin guards, back protectors and forearm guards. Contact the team before travelling to confirm availability and whether rental is offered for the specific item you need.
Do I need cut-resistant underlayers?

Cut-resistant underlayers are highly recommended. For U16 and FIS athletes, confirm the requirement for your camp season with the team before travelling.
What boot fitting services does Glacier Sport offer?

Can I rent or buy racing skis and boots before camp?

Ski Zenit offers race-grade ski and boot rental and can arrange equipment purchases with racer discounts. Arrange equipment in advance so the team can confirm stock, size, setup and collection for your destination.
Accommodation & meals
Can parents go to athletes’ rooms or join activities?

Parents should remain at hotel reception during check-in to complete the guest information. Only hotel supervisors take athletes to their rooms; upper floors and rooms are reserved for athletes and staff. Parents do not join camp activities while athletes are with their coaches.
Is supervision included between consecutive weeks?

Yes. Weekend supervision is included for athletes staying at the Ski Zenit hotel for multiple consecutive weeks. Hotel athletes under 16 are escorted to the morning meeting point by the hotel supervisor.
How do meals and snacks work?

Dinner at 19:00 is mandatory for hotel athletes. Going out for dinner with parents requires explicit authorisation. Athletes should eat breakfast and bring a mid-morning snack and at least one litre of water to training. Snacks are provided for athletes staying at the Ski Zenit hotel.
Is there a laundry service?

Yes. Laundry costs CHF 15 per bag for Ski Zenit hotel athletes. Bring cash and pay directly at hotel reception.
When can I contact the hotel supervisor?

The hotel supervisor is Miquel Nieto , available by WhatsApp only on +34 686 08 08 76 . The daily contact window is 18:00–19:00 ; outside these hours, contact is for emergencies only.
Is supervised accommodation available for every programme?

Supervision depends on the programme and age. Regular Saas-Fee and Zermatt camps offer supervised accommodation; the dedicated U10 camp does not. Zinal supervised lodging is for athletes aged 14 and above.
Can my U10 child stay in the supervised athlete hotel?

No. The dedicated U10 camp does not provide the supervised athlete hotel. Contact Ski Zenit to discuss alternative accommodation and arrangements for your family.
Training & weather
What does a typical training week look like?

The programme plans five ski days, Monday to Friday, with glacier training in the mornings. Lunch is followed by rest before afternoon dryland training, ski preparation, stretching and video analysis.
Where do athletes meet in the morning?

The morning meeting point is the Alpin Express bottom station. Check the camp WhatsApp channel each evening for the next day’s exact time. Please arrive punctually, as lift access is time-sensitive.
What happens if the glacier is closed?

The glacier may close because of wind, avalanche risk, glacier instability in warm conditions, poor visibility or lift technical problems. Alternative off-snow training is provided when skiing cannot take place.
Is there optional ski training on Saturday?

If skiing has taken place Monday to Friday, optional Saturday gate training may be offered at CHF 133 plus the ski pass. Details are shared through WhatsApp during the camp. Otherwise, Saturday follows the normal programme, including a make-up ski session where applicable.
How should I prepare for glacier weather?

Training takes place at approximately 3,500 metres, where conditions can change quickly. Bring extra layers, suitable goggles, high-factor sunscreen, snacks and at least one litre of water every ski morning.

Where can I find daily schedules and updates?

Join the Ski Zenit Saas-Fee WhatsApp channel using the link in the arrival guide. Use the link to join yourself; there is no need to ask the team to add you.
Does my child need to bring a phone?

Hotel athletes receive daily information from the supervisor, so bringing a phone is not compulsory for their stay. Phones are not used during training sessions.
Where can athletes find their training videos?

Coaches upload videos daily to Google Drive. The access link is in your original booking confirmation email. The videos support athlete feedback and training, rather than ongoing parent monitoring.

Can I buy Ski Zenit clothing at camp?

Ski Zenit 20th anniversary apparel is available at the welcome meeting, including ski jackets, windbreakers, race shorts, buffs, T-shirts and hats. Ask the team about available sizes and items.
Are there activities for siblings who do not ski?

Bushcraft Adventure Camps in Saas-Fee welcome children aged 5–15, including siblings and non-skiing family members. Activities include survival skills, climbing, sports and outdoor games.

Are ski passes included in the training price?

No. Ski passes are invoiced separately from the training price. Check your booking invoice for the applicable items.
Can I use my Magic Pass for the summer camp?

Magic Pass does not cover summer and autumn glacier skiing in Saas-Fee. Athletes must arrange the appropriate ski pass through Ski Zenit. For dates around the transition to winter operations, confirm the applicable pass with the team.
What insurance do athletes need?

Adequate health and accident insurance, including helicopter rescue cover, is mandatory. Medical and rescue costs in Switzerland can be significant. Check your policy before travelling.
Where can I check cancellation and weather refund policies?

Weather and lift closures do not receive refunds; alternative activities or training arrangements are provided. Booking cancellation rules and optional Cancellation Protection have separate conditions.

What does Ski Zenit Cancellation Protection cover?

Optional protection covers selected Ski Zenit training, Saas-Fee and Chile hotel services, transfers and rental equipment. Lift passes, third-party services and the protection fee are excluded. It is separate from medical and rescue cover.
How do I cancel before the activity starts with Cancellation Protection?

With Cancellation Protection, you may cancel up to 48 hours before the activity for a 90% refund or 95% credit on covered services. Written notice and the working-hour requirements in the terms apply.
What if I have to leave camp early?

With Cancellation Protection, medically documented illness or injury, or documented family bereavement, may qualify for a refund or credit on unused covered services. Voluntary early departure without a covered reason does not qualify.
Do you offer rescue and medical cover for ski racers?

What are the U19 programme options?

Choose Summer–Fall, Fall–Winter or Flexible Year. Each has a different minimum commitment across training blocks and different physical-preparation inclusions.
How can U19 athletes combine training and school?

Athletes need flexible or online schooling, or to have completed school. Families may choose their school; Ski Zenit can help explore suitable education and housing options.
How does admission to the Zenit Ski Team work?

Admission includes an interview, racing videos, a previous-coach report, physical screening and academic planning. Athletes need club and national-association membership; race entries depend on national quotas.
