Ski Camp Supervision: A Guide for Parents
Ski camp supervision depends on the programme, the athlete’s age and the accommodation you book. Use this guide to check eligibility and understand the hotel routines, meals and parent contact arrangements.
Confirm these arrangements before booking
- Whether your selected programme offers supervised accommodation for your child’s age.
- Who is responsible for your child outside training hours.
- Whether supervision covers the weekend between consecutive camp weeks.
- Where parents hand over and collect athletes, and whom to contact during the stay.
The dedicated U10 camp does not include the supervised athlete hotel. Zinal supervised lodging is for athletes aged 14 and above. The hotel routines below are specific to the regular Saas-Fee summer and autumn camp.
Can parents go to athletes’ rooms or join activities?

Parents should remain at hotel reception during check-in to complete the guest information. Only hotel supervisors take athletes to their rooms; upper floors and rooms are reserved for athletes and staff. Parents do not join camp activities while athletes are with their coaches.
Is supervision included between consecutive weeks?

Yes. Weekend supervision is included for athletes staying at the Ski Zenit hotel for multiple consecutive weeks. Hotel athletes under 16 are escorted to the morning meeting point by the hotel supervisor.
How do meals and snacks work?

Dinner at 19:00 is mandatory for hotel athletes. Going out for dinner with parents requires explicit authorisation. Athletes should eat breakfast and bring a mid-morning snack and at least one litre of water to training. Snacks are provided for athletes staying at the Ski Zenit hotel.
Is there a laundry service?

Yes. Laundry costs CHF 15 per bag for Ski Zenit hotel athletes. Bring cash and pay directly at hotel reception.
When can I contact the hotel supervisor?

The hotel supervisor is Miquel Nieto, available by WhatsApp only on +34 686 08 08 76. The daily contact window is 18:00–19:00; outside these hours, contact is for emergencies only.
The hotel rules and routines meeting is on Sunday at 18:30 with Miquel. Nutritional guidance follows at 18:45 with the Head Coach.
Is supervised accommodation available for every programme?

Accommodation and supervision depend on the programme and athlete’s age. Do not assume the hotel rules for one camp apply to another.
Regular Saas-Fee and Zermatt camps offer supervised athlete accommodation during camp dates. The dedicated U10 camp does not offer the supervised athlete hotel. Zinal’s supervised accommodation is for athletes aged 14 and above. Adults / Masters and private-training guests can enquire about suitable hotels or apartments.

Can my U10 child stay in the supervised athlete hotel?
