Cancellation Insurance – General Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These General Terms and Conditions govern the Cancellation Insurance provided by Ski Zenit (“the Company”) to its clients. This insurance allows clients to cancel their booked activities under the terms outlined below.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • 2.1 Cancellation Before Activity Start: If a client purchases a Zenit cancellation insurance policy at the time of booking, the client is entitled to cancel their booking of all insured items only (which excludes the price of the insurance policy itself), for any reason, up to 48 hours before the scheduled start of the activity. In this case, the client has the option of either:
    • Receiving a 90% refund of the value of all insured products or services, OR
    • Receiving a 95% credit of the value of the insured products or services, to be redeemed on any future Ski Zenit products or services.
  • 2.2 Cancellation After Activity Start: Once the activity has started, cancellation is permitted only for the following reasons:
    • 2.2.1 Medical Reasons: The participant must provide a medical certificate showing that they are unable to continue participating in the activity.
    • 2.2.2 Family Bereavement: In the event of a family bereavement, the participant will need to provide appropriate documentation.

For cancellations under sections 2.2.1 and 2.2.2, they are valid only on the condition that the participant leaves Saas Fee as a consequence of either of the two reasons stipulated above.

3. Notification

To cancel a booking, the participant must notify Ski Zenit in writing:

The notification must reach Ski Zenit during work hours (08:30-18:00 CET) at least 48 hours before the scheduled start of the activity for cancellations under section 2.1, or as soon as reasonably possible in the cases described in section 2.2.

4. Refunds

Upon a valid cancellation, refunds will be processed depending on whether the client requests a refund or credit. Refunds will be made to the original payment method used at the time of booking.

5. Exceptions

No refunds will be given if:

  • The cancellation request is made less than 48 hours before the activity start time, except under the conditions mentioned in section 2.2.
  • The required documentation for medical reasons or family bereavement is not provided or is insufficient.

6. Additional Terms

  • Ski Zenit reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions with prior notice to the client.
  • These terms do not affect your statutory rights under applicable national laws relating to the sale of consumer products and services.
