Transfer services to and from our training locations.

We organise reliable transfer services to and from all major cities, airports and any other pick-up points — so athletes and families travel stress-free. Our professional drivers meet clients on arrival and take care of luggage and equipment, providing comfortable door-to-door transport to training destinations such as Saas-Fee, Zermatt, El Colorado (Chile), Zinal, Grimentz and beyond.

Whether arriving from overseas or travelling within the region, our transfers are timed to match flight and train schedules, include clear communication before and during the journey, and offer flexible options for groups or individual athletes. This seamless service ensures you arrive relaxed and ready to train, with all logistics handled.

High performance racing equipment

We offer high-quality ski and boot rental with race-grade equipment to meet the needs of serious athletes and developing racers. In addition, we have access to special racer discounts from most major ski brands; this lets participants get top-level gear at reduced prices. You can choose to purchase or rent equipment in advance through our service — we handle the orders and ensure the right sizes and setups before you arrive.

Sorting out purchases on-site is difficult because we place orders directly with the brands, so arranging rental or purchase ahead of time guarantees availability, correct fittings and optimal race preparation.

Cancellation insurance

Our cancellation insurance includes a stress‑free “cancel for any reason” option that lets you cancel your ski camp booking without needing a specific covered cause. If you choose this option, you can change your plans for reasons like work, personal choice, or last‑minute concerns and still receive reimbursement of the non‑refundable costs set out in your booking terms. The policy also continues to cover standard reasons such as sudden illness, serious injury and trip interruption.

Before purchasing, please review the full terms and conditions to understand the exact CFAR reimbursement percentage, any purchase windows, required cancellation notice periods and documentation or claim procedures. For the complete policy details, including specific coverage limits and how to file a claim, see:

Rescue and medical insurance

We provide comprehensive rescue and medical insurance options tailored for ski racers training and competing abroad. Through our partnership with Global Rescue, we offer coverage that includes emergency evacuation, medical transport, on-site medical advice, and access to a worldwide network of medical providers. This protection ensures rapid response and high-quality care if an injury or medical emergency occurs during training or competition.

Policies cover incidents on and off the slopes, including race-related accidents, and can include repatriation to your home country when medically necessary. While we’re not insurance brokers and cannot sell policies directly, we’ll help you understand the coverage options.

FAQ

In Summer on the glacier it can be as cold as in winter first thing in the morning so a good system of layers is important to stay warm.

As the day progresses it warms up considerably which means that being able to remove layers is crucial. In the town of Saas Fee where we do our afternoon training it can get very warm so sports clothing, including shorts and t-shirts, is required. Also a waterproof jacket in case of Summer showers is useful.

Thanks to lower temperatures in Autumn, ski days on the glacier are longer and therefore less time is spent on afternoon non-skiing activities. As Winter-like conditions prevail on the glacier, warm clothing is required for both on- and off-snow activities.

By age group and with differentiated goals and drills according to skill level. We develop a specific training programme each week for each group. We provide training in free skiing, educational drills and gates courses as needed, with a major emphasis on strengthening fundamental technical and tactical skills.

If you can ski all slopes in a ski resort and enjoy dynamic, active skiing you can greatly benefit from our ski race training camps. In order to accurately assess your current level, we ask you to provide a video of yourself. If we find that you have not yet reached the required level, we can offer you private training which is the best way to quickly close the skill gap in an environment specifically tailored to your needs.

We always recommend giving your children some spending money to buy extra snacks etc. All of their meals, snacks and requirements are met at the athletes’ hotel but as Saas Fee is a very safe, car-free resort, it is good for children to have some spending money to be able to purchase some things independently.

Our hotel is located close to the lift and offers double and triple rooms. Our experienced caretaker offers 24/7 supervision. A wide range of non-ski activities and a tasty, nutritious and healthy menu at the restaurant contribute to creating a fantastic environment for our athletes.

Athletes come from over 30 different countries to attend our race camps creating a truly international experience. Our athletes range from beginner racers to those who have competed at the Olympic Games. Although the official language of the camps is English, we have coaches and staff fluent in many languages.

As part of our booking process, you will be asked about your current equipment. If it is not fit for the sort of skiing we propose, we are on hand to provide advice and guidance. We have a great deal through Nordica for all of your race camp needs at discounted prices.

Ski Zenit offers its athletes and their chaperones a transfer service in comfortable mini-buses from/to the Geneva, Zürich, Basel or Milan airports. Transfer by motorway takes about three hours. All airport transfer drivers are authorised to check-in all young athletes traveling alone.

Unfortunately, not in our athletes’ hotel which is for racers only as this is the best way to create a suitable ‘race camp’ environment. If you wish to be in the same accommodation as your children, we work closely with several hotels and accommodation providers and we will be happy to assist you in finding suitable accommodation.

Convenient train service is available from the Zurich, Geneva, Milan and Basel airports to the town of Visp taking about 2 hours and 45 minutes.
From the Visp train station you must take a bus to Saas-Fee (two buses per hour) which takes about 45 minutes. You can purchase both legs of the trip on a single ticket.
