These Terms & Conditions form the contract between you (the client) and Ski Zenit Sàrl.
It is important that you read and understand these Terms & Conditions before booking. While they must be adhered to, we always aim to be flexible and find solutions that work fairly for all parties.
1. Definitions
- Client: Any individual or group that books, purchases, or participates in products or services offered by Ski Zenit Sàrl.
- Products and Services: All ski race training programmes, camps, private or shared-private sessions, guiding, and related activities, as well as any associated products or arrangements provided directly by Ski Zenit or through third parties (e.g. lift passes, transfers, accommodation, or equipment rentals).
- Booking: The process of reserving services through the available channels.
- Official Travel Restrictions: Limitations imposed by government authorities affecting travel.
2. Bookings
- All bookings must be made through one of the following:

- For every booking, Ski Zenit will send a booking quote detailing all hired products or services, prices, and any applied discounts or credits.
- Bookings will not be confirmed until payment of 100% of the invoice amount is received. Any booking not confirmed within 4 days will be automatically cancelled. In the event of cancellation, please contact our office to restart the process.
- Clients may request modifications to bookings (e.g., date changes). Additional fees may apply, and modifications are subject to availability.
- Payments can be made via:
- Credit or debit card using a secured payment link sent by email.
- Credit or debit card details provided via phone or email.
- Bank transfer (all fees must be covered by the client; Ski Zenit must receive the full booking amount in Swiss Francs, and a receipt must be emailed).
- Cash payments in Swiss Francs (for in-person bookings).
3. Cancellation and Refunds for ALL products
- Ski Zenit offers its own cancellation insurance, which can be purchased directly at the time of booking. This provides clients with a simple and reliable way to ensure full protection. Full details are available here: Cancellation Insurance – General Terms and Conditions
- Strict Refund Policy: Clients must have travel insurance that covers unused products or services of Ski Zenit and third parties.
- Refund Structure:
- Up until 28 days before the start of the first session: 90% refund of all Ski Zenit products and services and 100% refund on lift pass.
- Between 28 days and 7 days before the start of the first session: 50% refund of all Ski Zenit products and services and 100% refund on lift pass.
- 7 days or less up until the day before the first training session: No refund on all products and services and 100% refund on lift pass.
- For all third-party products and services booked through Ski Zenit, including hotel, apartment, or chalet accommodations, the respective provider’s terms and conditions apply.
- No refunds will be provided for late arrivals, no-shows or early departure. This also applies if the early termination of the camp is due to unforeseen circumstances such as injury, illness, or homesickness. Clients are strongly advised to ensure they have appropriate travel insurance to cover such situations.
- Force Majeure and Glacier Closure:
- Definition: Force majeure refers to events beyond the control of Ski Zenit, including but not limited to: extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, technical breakdowns of ski lifts, power outages, avalanches, strikes, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances that prevent normal ski training from taking place.
- i. Ski Race Camps (weekly and weekend group formats):
- If the glacier training area is closed by the lift company, Ski Zenit will always provide an alternative programme (e.g. dryland training, video analysis, technical workshops, or other suitable sessions).
- If the glacier is closed, Ski Zenit will always provide an adapted programme with alternative activities.
- The amounts already paid for the booking (training fees and lift passes) are allocated to cover the costs of these alternative activities.
- As the programme continues, no refunds are issued for training fees or lift passes in the event of glacier closure or other force majeure disruptions.
- ii. Private or Shared-Private Training ONLY:
- Scenario A – Glacier closed on the day of training, alternative activity refused:
- CHF 150 (swiss francs) flat-rate fee applies.
- Lift pass refunded only to the partial amount reimbursed by the lift company.
- Scenario B – Glacier closed on the day of training, alternative activity accepted:
- A 20% discount is applied to the training rate.
- Lift pass refunded to the partial amount reimbursed by the lift company, but only if the alternative activity does not require additional costs (e.g. ski carpet rental, indoor training space).
- Scenario C – If Ski Zenit knows at least the day before that the glacier will be closed (Advance Closure Policy):
- A credit note for the training fee will be issued, valid until the end of the same season (July through until the end of the following April).
- If the athlete chooses to join the alternative dryland activity, Scenario B applies.
- If the glacier is closed for several consecutive days, this advance closure policy applies individually to each day (you will receive a credit note, or the option of a discounted alternative activity, for each day affected).
- Scenario A – Glacier closed on the day of training, alternative activity refused:
- i. Ski Race Camps (weekly and weekend group formats):
- Definition: Force majeure refers to events beyond the control of Ski Zenit, including but not limited to: extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, technical breakdowns of ski lifts, power outages, avalanches, strikes, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances that prevent normal ski training from taking place.
4. Travel Insurance Requirement
- All clients booking with Ski Zenit are required to have valid travel insurance that covers trip cancellation and unused services. The policy must include, at a minimum:
- Cancellation of the trip for any reason, including illness, injury, accident, or family emergencies.
- Medical treatment, hospitalization, and repatriation costs in case of accident or illness during the trip.
- Rescue and evacuation costs (including helicopter rescue in Switzerland and abroad).
- Third-party liability coverage.
- This requirement applies to all products and services offered by Ski Zenit, as well as to any third-party products or services booked or purchased through Ski Zenit (e.g. lift passes, accommodation, transport).
- Many credit cards provide travel insurance if the trip is paid with that card. Please check your policy carefully, and if it does not provide full coverage, you must purchase an additional insurance policy to ensure you are fully protected.
5. Ski Pass
- Ski passes and equipment are not included in the training fees, unless explicitly stated in the booking.
6. Equipment
- Mandatory Safety Gear: Helmets and back protectors are mandatory for all ski race training.
- Specialised Equipment: Ski racing requires specific equipment that is not included in the training price. A detailed list of required equipment will be provided to the client by email at the time of booking.
- Clothing and General Gear: Participants must bring appropriate clothing and gear for outdoor mountain activities. A detailed list of clothing and general requirements will be sent by email at the time of booking and re-confirmed prior to the start of the camp or training programme.
- Support from Ski Zenit Staff:
- Purchases: Ski Zenit staff can assist with the purchase of racing equipment. All purchases must be pre-ordered. The costs will be added as an extra line in the booking quote and must be paid in advance by the client.
- Rentals: Clients may rent equipment either:
- i. Through Ski Zenit – an invoice will be issued at the end of the rental period.
- ii. Directly from Ski Zenit’s rental shop partner in resort – in this case, payment must be made in advance of usage directly to the shop.
7. Safety
- Safety is paramount in all Ski Zenit activities, including ski race training, camps, and adventure programmes.
- Staff are bound by legal obligations, FIS regulations, ski resort rules, and professional safety guidelines.
- In the event of accidents, illness, or unforeseen circumstances, Ski Zenit staff will always act in the best possible interests of the participants.
- Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by Ski Zenit staff. Failure to do so may compromise their own safety and that of others.
- Ski Zenit reserves the right to exclude any participant whose behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or detrimental to the group. No refund will be provided in such cases.
8. Liability
- Participants are personally liable for any accidents, damages, or injuries they cause to themselves, to third parties, or to property.
- Ski Zenit maintains company liability insurance in accordance with Swiss law. This insurance covers only the company’s legal liability; it does not replace or cover the participant’s own accident, travel, or liability insurance, which remains the responsibility of the participant.
- By booking with Ski Zenit, participants (or their legal guardians, in the case of minors) acknowledge and accept that skiing, ski race training, and mountain sports carry inherent risks. Each participant is responsible for their own safety and for following the instructions of Ski Zenit staff at all times.
- Swiss law applies, and the place of jurisdiction is Sion, Valais.Participants are liable for any accidents they may cause.
9. Under-age minors
- Ski Zenit staff will exercise a duty of care for minors participating in ski race training, camps, and Ski Zenit transfers. This includes handling accidents, illness, safety concerns, disciplinary issues, and general well-being while the minors are under staff supervision.
- Transfer drivers and staff are expected to follow Ski Zenit’s safety standards and act responsibly when transporting minors.
- Parents/guardians remain ultimately responsible for ensuring that minors understand and follow all rules and instructions provided by Ski Zenit staff.
- Misconduct or breach of rules may result in expulsion from activities or denial of access to transfers. In such cases, no refund will be provided.
10. Organization of groups
- Zenit racing camps operate with defined minimum and maximum participant numbers, depending on the specific service or activity.
- Group organisation takes into account age, skill level, and programme type. If fewer than four participants of a similar age and level are available to form a group, additional fees may apply or the format may be adjusted.
- Private training is defined as one-on-one coaching with a race coach.
- Shared-private training is defined as between 2 and 7 participants training together with one coach.
- Travel expenses for activities taking place outside of the training resort (e.g. race events in other resorts) are not included in training fees and must be covered separately by the client.
11. Data Protection and Privacy Policy
- Client data will be handled confidentially and securely in line with Swiss data protection laws.
- Personal information collected during bookings will only be used for the delivery of services and for essential communication related to those services.
- Client data will not be shared with third parties except where necessary for the fulfilment of services booked (e.g. lift companies, accommodation providers, transport services).
12. Feedback and Complaints
- Ski Zenit welcomes feedback from all clients to improve its services.
- Any complaints should be submitted directly to the Ski Zenit office by email or in writing.
- Ski Zenit will review and respond to complaints in a timely manner with the aim of reaching a fair resolution.
13. Severability Clause
- If any provision of these General Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to remain valid and enforceable.
