These General Terms & Conditions (“GTCs”) govern participation in the Zenit Ski Team U19 High-Performance Program, including but not limited to:
Summer–Fall Program
Fall–Winter Program
Flexible Year Program
Fitness & Conditioning Services
Race preparation and competition travel blocks
Any additional training modules or performance services offered under the Zenit Ski Team structure
These GTCs apply to all athletes enrolled in any of the above programs, regardless of duration or selected training format.
1.1 Definitions
Program: The structured annual or seasonal framework selected in advance by the athlete (e.g., Summer–Fall Program, Fall–Winter Program, Flexible Year Program).
Training Block (Block):
A continuous period of confirmed training weeks within a selected Program.
A Block may consist of one (1) or multiple consecutive training weeks.
A Block is considered concluded once a scheduled rest period or break longer than 7 days occurs between training periods.
Training Week: A standard operational unit within a Training Block, typically consisting of:
4, 5, or 6 on-snow training days.
7 overnights (unless otherwise specified in the official schedule).
The exact structure of each Training Week may vary depending on snow conditions, race calendar, or logistical considerations.
Camps: delivered in groups of 5–8 athletes per coach. If fewer than 5 athletes are registered, the camp may be reclassified as shared-private. The client will be informed in advance, and Ski Zenit will propose options (e.g., join another suitable group, adjust format/schedule, upgrade to private, reschedule/credit subject to availability).
2. Nature of the Program
The Zenit Ski Team is a performance-based alpine ski racing development program for international U19 athletes pursuing qualification for Provincial, Regional, National Junior, College or equivalent competitive teams.
The program provides structured coaching, individualized planning, access to high-level training environments and race support.
Participation does not guarantee:
Race results.
FIS points improvement.
Selection to national or college teams.
Access to race quotas (managed exclusively by national federations).
3. Admission & Eligibility
Enrollment is conditional upon completion of the admission process, which may include:
Physical screening by local PT/physiotherapist.
Online interview and goal assessment.
Coach recommendation or report.
Submission of race footage.
Academic pathway confirmation.
Club and national association membership.
Athletes must remain members of a recognized ski club and national association and must hold valid insurance coverage.
Ski Zenit reserves the right to refuse or terminate participation if eligibility, conduct or required documentation standards are not met.
4. Enrollment Structure
Summer–Fall Program (June 1 – October 31)
Minimum commitment: 5 weeks across 2 blocks.
Fall–Winter Program (November 1 – April 15)
Minimum commitment: 9 weeks across 2 blocks.
Flexible Year Program (July – April)
Minimum commitment: 8 weeks across 3 blocks.
Enrollment becomes binding once confirmed in writing and invoiced. Changes to selected blocks are subject to availability and administrative approval.
5. Costing and payment structure
The Zenit Ski Team operates under a two-part cost structure consisting of a fixed Coaching & Training Fee, and a variable cost system managed through a prepaid operational credit.
5.1 Coaching & Training Fee
The Coaching & Training Fee is a fixed fee payable at the time of booking. It is subject to Ski Zenit’s refund policy.
For the avoidance of doubt, the Coaching & Training Fee is the sum of two separate components, each with a different purpose and treatment:
A) Coaching Fee (Service Component)
The Coaching Fee covers the professional services delivered by the coaching staff, including in particular:
On-snow coaching, supervision and athlete management.
Fitness and conditioning coaching, supervision and athlete management.
Training design, planning and periodisation.
Daily technical feedback and on-snow decision-making.
Video analysis, performance evaluation and reporting.
Remote follow-up (as applicable).
Communication with the athlete and, when relevant, coordination with parents/guardians.
Team coordination and coaching administration directly related to the coaching service.
Discounts apply exclusively to the Coaching Fee component and do not apply to the Training Fee component.
B) Training Fee (Operational & Logistics Component)
The Training Fee covers the operational and logistical structure required to deliver the training program, including in particular:
Training organisation and scheduling (weekly plans, training blocks, group allocation).
Operational coordination and administration (office support, program management).
Training infrastructure and logistics necessary for delivery (e.g., lane bookings when applicable, operational coach expenses, transport, equipment and facilities required to run sessions).
Race participation infrastructure and logistics necessary for competition delivery (e.g., transportation, coach expenses, equipment use, etc.).
Structural program costs and on-the-ground logistics management needed for training to take place.
The Training Fee is independent of weather conditions, race calendar changes, or modifications of training locations, and no discounts apply to this portion of the Coaching & Training Fee.
5.2 Variable Costs – Operational Credit System
In addition to the Training Fee, athletes are responsible for variable operational costs, which may include:
As these costs vary depending on participation and race calendar, they are managed through a prepaid credit system.
Before the start of each training or racing block, athletes must deposit an operational credit amount, the minimum of which will be communicated in advance.
This credit:
It is held by Ski Zenit.
Is used to cover real-time expenses incurred on behalf of the athlete.
Is internally tracked by the office.
Can be monitored by the customer in a shared online document that will show all the executed credit top-ups and debited payments, from their individual account.
If the credit balance approaches depletion, the athlete or legal guardian will be notified and must replenish the credit before further participation.
Ski Zenit reserves the right to suspend participation in training or racing activities if the operational credit is not maintained at the required level.
At the end of each program period:
Remaining credit may be carried forward or refunded upon written request.
If expenses exceed the deposited credit, the outstanding balance must be settled within ten (10) days of the final invoice.
5.3 Discounts & Financial Commitment
Any discounts (e.g., 5%, 10%, 15%) apply exclusively to the Coaching Fee portion of the Coaching & Training Fee and are conditional upon the athlete fulfilling the minimum enrollment commitment defined at the time of booking.
If participation is reduced or cancelled after confirmation, Ski Zenit reserves the right to recalculate the applicable discount retroactively and invoice any resulting balance.
Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in temporary suspension from training, and/or exclusion from race blocks and related logistics, until all outstanding amounts are settled.
5.4 Payment Terms & Schedule
A) Coaching & Training payment
To formalise a reservation within the Zenit Ski Team Program:
The full Coaching & Training fee must be paid for each of the selected Training Blocks. This payment can be fractioned in a 2-installment payment plan.
The payment secures the athlete’s place within the selected Training Blocks.
The reservation is not considered confirmed until the payment is received.
This payment is subject to the Cancellation Policy (Section 6).
B) Operational Credit (Variable Costs Deposit)
In addition to the Fixed Fees, an estimated operational credit amount will be communicated based on the confirmed Training Blocks and expected calendar.
This operational credit must be deposited no later than thirty (30) days before the start of each Training Block.
The credit must be fully available before the athlete is permitted to participate in training or racing activities.
The estimated amount is calculated to reasonably cover projected Variable Costs for the block.
If the required operational credit has not been deposited in full by the deadline:
Ski Zenit reserves the right to suspend participation until the balance is settled.
Coaching services and logistical support may be withheld.
C) Full Payment Condition
Participation in any Training Block is conditional upon:
1. Full payment of the Fixed Fees
2. Full deposit of the required Operational Credit.
Both conditions must be fulfilled within the stated deadlines.
Stage 1. RESERVATION
What is Due: Full Coaching & Training fees for each block.
Amount: Full amount or payment plan in 2 installments.
Deadline: At booking.
Condition: Required to secure the place.
Stage 2. Operational Credit Deposit
What is Due: Variable Costs Credit (estimated amount communicated by Ski Zenit).
Amount: Based on projected expenses.
Deadline: 7 days before block start.
Condition: Must be fully available before participation.
6. Cancellation Policy (Athlete)
Because Ski Zenit must plan training blocks well in advance (coach allocation, scheduling, reservations and operational setup), the following cancellation rules apply.
6.1 Definitions
Training Block: continuous training weeks selected from a period within a program.
Fixed Fees: the Coaching Fee and Training Fee (see Section 5.1).
Variable Costs: pass-through costs linked to the athlete’s participation, charged separately (e.g., lift passes, accommodation/meal plans if booked through Ski Zenit, local transport, race entries and similar third-party services).
6.2 Cancellation Charges (Fixed Fees)
Cancellation charges are calculated on the total Fixed Fees (Coaching Fee + Training Fee) for the cancelled weeks.
Administration Fee (non-refundable): For any cancellation, an administration fee of CHF 100 per cancelled week applies and is non-refundable (covers processing, office time, reallocation attempts, and administrative work).
A) More than 90 days before the block start date.
CHF 100 administration fee per week (non-refundable).
B) 60–90 days before the block start date.
20% of the Fixed Fees for the cancelled weeks are retained,
PlusCHF 100 administration fee per week (non-refundable).

40% of the Fixed Fees for the cancelled weeks are retained,
PlusCHF 100 administration fee per week (non-refundable).

60% of the Fixed Fees for the cancelled weeks are retained,
PlusCHF 100 administration fee per week (non-refundable).
E) Less than 15 days before the block start date
No refund of the Fixed Fees for the cancelled weeks.
If the athlete has not yet paid the full amount due according to the above cancellation charges, Ski Zenit may invoice the outstanding balance.
6.3 Variable Costs and Third-Party Cancellation Conditions
Variable Costs are billed separately and are subject to the terms and cancellation policies of third-party providers.
If Ski Zenit has already incurred, confirmed or committed Variable Costs (reservations, passes, accommodation, transport, lane bookings, race fees, etc.), the athlete must reimburse these costs in full, regardless of the cancellation window.
Ski Zenit will provide supporting documentation upon request (e.g., supplier invoices/confirmations where applicable).
6.4 No-Show / Late Arrival / Early Departure
No refunds are granted for no-shows, late arrivals, or early departures. Fixed Fees remain due and any committed Variable Costs will be charged.
6.5 Travel / Cancellation Insurance
Ski Zenit strongly recommends that athletes hold adequate accident and cancellation insurance to cover unforeseen events (injury, illness, travel disruption, etc.).
7. Injury & Return to Snow
In the event of injury:
Return to snow requires medical clearance and confirmation that the athlete is fit to participate safely.
Ski Zenit may continue conditioning / follow-up remotely when applicable.
All fees remain subject to the Cancellation Policy (Section 6) and to any committed Variable Costs.
8. Racing & National Association Responsibility
Race entries must be arranged through the athlete’s club and national association and are subject to national quotas.
Ski Zenit cannot guarantee race entry or participation.
Race cancellations due to weather, organizers or federation decisions are outside Ski Zenit’s control.
