Ski Zenit Consent, Waiver and Code of Conduct Agreement

As the undersigned participant, or as the parent/legal guardian of the participant (if under 18 years of age), and in consideration for being allowed to participate in the Ski Zenit Ski Racing Camp and related activities, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

PART I – CONSENT AND WAIVER

1. Acknowledgment of Risk

I understand that activities provided by Ski Zenit — including but not limited to skiing, ski racing, glacier training, climbing, swimming, dryland training, and transportation in Ski Zenit vehicles or vehicles operated by Ski Zenit staff — involve inherent risks.

These risks include, but are not limited to: falls, collisions, contact with other participants, weather conditions, snow and ice conditions, terrain variations, lift operations, equipment malfunction, transportation risks, and other unforeseen hazards.

I acknowledge that these risks may result in serious injury, permanent disability, or death. I voluntarily and knowingly accept these risks.

2. Health and Medical Disclosure

I confirm that the participant is physically fit and medically able to participate in all camp activities. I agree to inform Ski Zenit in writing of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, medications, or special needs that may affect participation or safety.

3. Insurance Requirement

I confirm that the participant holds valid health insurance, accident insurance, and third-party liability insurance covering alpine ski racing and related sports activities in Switzerland. Insurance should specifically cover the evacuation from ski slopes with helicopters.

Ski Zenit does not provide personal accident insurance coverage for participants.

4. Compliance with Rules

The participant agrees to follow all instructions and rules established by Ski Zenit staff. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action or expulsion from the camp without reimbursement.

5. Liability Waiver and Release

I release, waive, and discharge Ski Zenit, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, coaches, hotel supervisors, and affiliated personnel from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising directly or indirectly from participation in any Ski Zenit activity, including transportation, except in cases of proven gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

6. Emergency Medical Authorization

I authorize Ski Zenit staff to obtain emergency medical assistance if deemed necessary, including calling emergency services and arranging transport to a medical facility.

All related medical and transport costs remain the responsibility of the participant or parent/legal guardian.

7. Force Majeure and Operational Changes

Ski Zenit may modify, postpone, relocate, or cancel activities due to weather conditions, glacier or lift closures, safety considerations, illness or injury, governmental decisions, travel disruptions, or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Ski Zenit shall not be held liable for such modifications.

8. Personal Equipment Responsibility

Participants are responsible for ensuring that their personal ski equipment is appropriate, properly maintained, and safe for use.

Ski Zenit is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal equipment unless caused by proven gross negligence.

9. Media Consent

I authorize Ski Zenit to use photographs and video recordings taken during the camp for communication, educational, and promotional purposes (including website, social media, and printed materials), without compensation.

If I do not consent, I will inform Ski Zenit in writing prior to the start of the camp.

10. Zero Tolerance Policy

The possession or use of alcohol, drugs, vaping devices, or illegal substances is strictly prohibited.

Violence, bullying, harassment, or serious misconduct may result in immediate expulsion from the camp without refund.

Any early departure arrangements and related costs remain the responsibility of the participant or parent/legal guardian.
